About SOUNDS RICH Productions

I am the owner of SRP. During the seventies, I was an Americana guitarist of the style of Leo Kottke, Ry Cooder, and Hot Tuna. I performed for audiences in the thousands, performed with the likes of Earl Scruggs, Norman Blake, John Klemmer, and was featured for many years on one of the nation’s largest educational television station, KERA Dallas as well as Austin radio. I was immersed in the Austin music culture during the magic era where Steve Ray Vaughn, Marcia Ball, Willy Nelson, ZZ Top, Eric Johnson, Uncle Walt’s Band, Jimmy Vaughn & the Thunderbirds and others grew to national recognition. It was truly a magic time.

With marriage came a respite from music, focusing on family and an engineering career at IBM. In the mid eighties, the fire for recording began. A four track cassette player led to eight track then to 16 tracks and a variety of artists commissioned me to produce their new projects. Leaving a position as President of a start up software company in 2003, Sounds Rich PRODUCTIONS was created to focus on serving emerging artists.

I have served regularly for years playing guitar with the Charlotte
Christian music community with Mecklenburg Community Church,
University City Methodist Church, Moore’s Sanctuary AME Zion
Church as well as serving on the board and coordinating the band
for the Feeda My Soul charity project.

My natural gift is my spiritual gift is my passion, serving our Lord
through music production. My services are open to all. My gifts
are primarily in R&B Gospel, Contemporary Christian, and Americana
including Blues, Folk, straight up Rock, and Bluegrass.
