"Working with Rich Mason is not only a delight, but also a blessing. His engineering and production services scream "NATIONAL QUALITY." Add to this a creative enviroment, his love of music and people, coupled with great equipment and great house musicians, means that nothing less than perfection
leaves his studio."

"Rich has done a lot of things right in his intimate studio on the North side of Charlotte. The carefully tuned acoustics allow for both good monitoring and focused recording of instruments and voices. Great microphones, API pre-amps and Apogee digital converters further ensure making premium recordings at Sounds Rich Productions.

"I've been hearing a lot of great projects coming out of Sounds Rich Productions lately. Rich Mason obviously has the talent and the place to make a first class recording. He exhibits the passion for music that is absolutely necessary in this business. His studio has a very comfortable vibe that is conducive to capturing a world-class performance and the gear selection allows Rich to offer a full palette of interesting and creative sounds. I highly recommend a visit to Sounds Rich”

"I love working with Rich. He's hard-working, extremely capable...and, most importantly, he really cares about the music. I remember several occasions when, at the end of a session, a sound or mix wasn't quite right. By the time I returned for the next session, Rich had already worked it out. He got as involved in my project as I did. I regularly recommend him.

"I sing with a local Charlotte group. We call ourselves the SUGAR CREEK QUARTET. Although we primarily sing sacred music, we enjoy singing the National Anthem, and we have performed it at several regional activities. As one thing often leads
to another, we kept having requests for a demo of our singing, especially the Star Spangled Banner. As we considered and discussed this endeavor, Rich Mason was recommended to us, and we chose to trust him for the project. What a treat. I have sent Rich’s recording of us to friends and acquaintances (some professional) all across the country seeking their comments, criticism, etc., about our work. There is one constant. I get positive comments about the engineering. Thankfully, I usually get positive feedback about our singing as well. The more we sing, the more we get requests for a recording. I can’t imagine that we wouldn't use the services of Rich Mason. Rich offers a first class experience for sure.

Wow...What can I say, I came to Rich with a vision and a certain sound in mind for my country demo and he Produced, literally! Rich and his professional approach to recording the "perfect" sound made me completely comfortable with what the final product was going to sound like. It was a great experience working with him and I would do it again in a heartbeat. Both songs that were produced in The Dog House have already been successful in getting me invited to an exclusive songwriting workshop, and most recently, one of the songs was chosen as a finalist in the WIXE NSAI song contest.
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you Rich!!!

"I recently recorded a CD project with Rich. Sounds Rich was my choice for recording this project because of one reason, Rich Mason. Rich goes far beyond the adequate or “good enough” quality for his clients. He has what I and I think many consider a state of the art studio that can and does produce immaculate recordings of anything that makes a sound. Rich’s years in this business also allows him to have a robust list of session players when a certain sound is needed for a project. When I put my CD in the player I get a rich full sound. Sounds Rich. That's my choice!
